Nekro Festival and Amoeba Music are proud to present deathrock pioneers Kommunity FK's Patrik Mata for a very special acoustic set at Amoeba San Francisco. Kommunity FK appeared in the wake of the LA punk explosion, crossing genres with a gloom post punk sound that caught the beginnings of what would become known as gothic...something that had already happened in the UK. Not the typical Los Angeles style speed rock, Kommunity FK was far dreamier but just as raw. Kommunity FK is now officially back together, performing and recording new material in the same tradition as they always have since 1978.Amoeba Music is honored to sponsor the first-ever Nekro Festival on Saturday, October 24th and Sunday, October 25th. Nekro Festival features 13 bands including Saints Of Ruin, Gitane Demone, and Kommunity FK!
