KFJC-FM (89.7) is not so much a college radio station as a way of life. The seasoned DJs here use the fabled Black Mountain transmitter to bathe the Bay Area in an eclectic mix of “homebrewed freeform radio”: punk, folk, psychedelic and blues and long-time specialty shows.
