Description
House & Garden is so much more than a play. It's two plays--written to be performed simultaneously in adjacent theaters, with the audience in each space staying put and the actors dashing from stage to stage. The theatrical diptych follows the same set of characters as they move from the drawing room of an upper-middle-class British country manor (House) and the grounds of the estate (Garden). Adultery, politics, teen angst and money's inability to buy happiness are all explored. Each segment of House & Garden is self-contained, but be sure to catch both (House in Unit K and Garden in Unit H) to get the whole story. The production runs four days a week through Oct. 5, with matinees every Sunday. (Nick Veronin)
