Description
The bombastic-goth-rock bubble burst several years ago, and suddenly the classic Onion headline "Marilyn Manson Now Going Door-to-Door Trying to Shock People" didn't seem quite so outlandish. San Francisco's Death Valley High seem to have taken this to heart, since their screamy cover of Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl" is about as far as four guys in all-black can get from taking themselves too seriously. Their songs are more in a dancecore vein, and the video for the catchy little slice of doom-pop that is their single "Multiply" is pretty (intentionally) funny, as well. - Steve Palopoli sanjose.comMore Info
