Richie Unterberger is one of the Bay Area's most accomplished popular music writers. With eleven books published on various groups and movements in popular music, and countless contributions to music magazines and websites, Unterberger is a wealth of knowledge on the subject. His newest contribution to the field will be a presentation on the starman himself, David Bowie, who passed earlier this year after a quiet bout with liver cancer.For fans of Bowie, or music in general, this should be a unique and enjoyable evening presented by Streetlight Records, with sponsorship by the Bascom Friends of the Library.
