In appreciation of aging, Calligraphy tells the story of two estranged sisters and their two daughters--who must navigate the challenges of clashing cultures and their prideful mothers, as well as their own busy, modern lives. In an attempt to reunite their aging parents, who live on opposite sides of the Pacific, the two women confront tradition, prejudice and their tangled heritage.
