Over the past couple years ALTERBEAST have been making a name for themselves on the death metal scene, opening up for major acts like Severed Savior, Exhumed and Decide, and dropping their excellent full--length debut, Immortal, in 2014. They tracked the record at Sound Temple Studios with the help of engineer Ryan "Bart" Williams, former bassist for The Black Dahlia Murder. They’re known for wild guitar solos, blistering rhythms and an explosive stage show. Formed in Sacramento in 2011, the group originally went by the moniker Gary Busey Amber Alert before re-antichristening themselves. (VS)
